- T3 Dragon / CoCo Emulator
- Version 0.8
- Copyright 1995-1997 by Paul Burgin
- ======================================
-
- New to T3 version 0.8:
-
- - Now uses SoundBlaster to provide audio output. Includes frequency, mute
- and volume controls.
-
- - Snapshot loading and saving is now supported, using v1.4/v1.5 format.
-
- - A selection of 16 bytes/line graphics modes are now supported.
-
- - Dynamic speed adjustment can now be disabled.
-
- - Emulation of CWAI and SYNC has changed so that they don't cause an
- immediate IRQ. This previously confused the dynamic speed adjustment.
-
- - Fixed Alt-R bug (holding it down caused stunted performance).
-
- - There are some changed/new keyboard controls.
-
- Changes for T3 version 0.7:
-
- - Fixed bug causing screen corruption when image load fails or when a 64K
- mode image is loaded.
-
- - Temporary fix to allow T3 to run under OS/2.
-
- New to T3 version 0.6:
-
- - A single instance of T3 now emulates multiple Dragon/CoCo sessions. New
- sessions may be created, brought to the foreground, sent to the
- background, and deleted on demand.
-
- - Pre-emptive multi-tasking provides simultaneous execution of tasks
- (alternatively tasks may be designated as exclusive).
-
- - Long file name support when run with MS-DOS v7.00 or above (also allows
- spaces and lower case to be used in file names).
-
- - Optional lower case text display.
-
- - Image facility for saving/restoring the state of a task. Automatic image
- facility allows Dragon/CoCo programs to become executable PC programs.
-
- - ROM files load faster and may now be up to $7F00 bytes long. The name of
- the ROM file can be specified on the command line (may be a long file
- name), and may be either DGN or ROM format.
-
- - Cassettes may now be saved as well as loaded, and are no longer limited
- to 64K. They can be closed by pressing F2. Dragon/CoCo file name may be
- pasted into the input box by pressing F2.
-
- - Memory usage has been reduced by approximately 55K.
-
- - There are some changed/new keyboard controls. Also file name input boxes
- behave a little more intelligently.
-
- - T3 will now terminate gracefully if system is not 80386, VGA or MS-DOS
- version v4.00 or above.
-
- - Draft instructions included (README.TXT).
